CUPRA Reveals Details Of Its Formentor Crossover
CUPRA Australia today shares specification of its forthcoming Formentor range of dynamic crossovers that includes a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle.
The Formentor comes to Australia in July with a line-up that is unique in both its performance focus and stylised design.
Designation of the four variants mirrors those of the Leon range that was shared last week, though with the availability of all-wheel-drive in two Formentor versions.
These are the Formentor V 4Drive; Formentor VZ; Formentor VZe and Formentor VZx 4Drive.
CUPRA Australia’s Head of Product and Planning, Jeff Shafer, said: “While the Formentor is clearly related to the Leon and Ateca in a technical sense, visually it is also the ‘most CUPRA’ of the conventional CUPRAS. This has in no small way contributed to the Formentor comprising almost two-thirds of total CUPRA sales.
“As with the Leon and Ateca, the highest feasible level of standard specification has been our objective.”

All CUPRAs are subject to five year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
